for the anime, it does include bromance but not romance. china has really strict rules of having gay scenes animated, which is why the manhua is better. the anime only shows them two as friends and nothing more. in the manhua they start to love each other.
If you read the light novel there will be romance and a lot more, seriously a LOT more
