The first set of side stories make more sense now. We all reacted with oh these characters are soooo out of character and would never do such things and then BAM. We see ML taking birth control and then reacting somewhat the same like his past by running away from FL. ML was so blinded by his want of FL even after his parents died you can tell how dark his mind went after that and yeahhhhh IG this story tho a bit fcked up make sense with it's plot and I genuinely find it great. I actually like the side stories because they make a lot of things make sense and answer the questions we initially had.

So i totally expected to like this but it literally irks me so much. Erika's presence just pisses me off as a character...like it's good to work hard and dream. But Tenka's perspective of her is probably what I hate...Erika in her pov seems like a try hard and I WANT TO LIKE ERIKA but there is like some kind of mary sue vibe to her, she reminds me a lil too much of myself but this story give her so much plot armor it pisses me off. I know this is fiction and everyone has their own opinions, this is just mine.

I want to love the story but I cannot pass Erika's story arc at all bc it just isn't realistic and just blasted plot armor. Like somehow a plain ass person just dreams of being a k-pop idol and somehow someone with looks plus hardwork plus talent is threatened by that plain ass person? WHAT?? i skimmed again and later chapters Erika's not there anymore? Eh?? I'm so confused and want to read and like this story but someone please tell me what is Erika's relevance to all this?? is she just gone? does she end up doing her dreams?


Please someone convince me to actually read through her arc bc this story is so interesting but im just getting so much ick in the beginning.
