Emperor And The Female Knight
Finishing this manhwa left me with (good) tears and a full heart! I wondered how the author was going to tackle the topic of working women and marriage and it was handled satisfyingly. Despite this being set in a medieval time, the discussion of work vs marriage in regards for women is relevant in modern times. I appreciate how the author doesn’t sacrifice the development of the characters simply to have that “happily ever after”. This is one of my favorite manhwa and is deeply relevant to me as a woman. It’s not groundbreaking or extremely thought provoking but, it’s modern media that doesn’t demonize “girl bossing” or home making and embraces both roles in a palatable way! I do wish there was a little more description for the last arc that showed more details of behind the scenes of what the characters experienced. Would seriously recommend to others.
Efforts Never Betray
Felt a little rushed but really good. You feel the anxiety of Jaekyung. The ending is insinuated and sad

Could have been a little longer to develop the story more. I understand that you have to put context clues together but, not everything made sense and I relied on the author’s explanation. Clever concept but not executed in the best of ways.
Goodbye Eri
Crying literal tears this is good. I think the explosion at the end of the first original movie was poetic showing the explosion of his bottled up emotions. I also like how you find out the mom wasn’t perfect and had selfish intentions in wanting to be filmed. When someone dies, it’s easy to put them on a pedestal as a saint and forget the terrible things they’ve done. It makes the story feel more realistic. :)
Love or Hate(Yeongha)
This caused me so much stress for no reason. I really liked the art style but the plot wasn’t something I thought was really good or interesting. It was very frustrating and annoying. I don’t know how I feel about the ending couple but as long as they’re happy then I guess it’s alright.
Ore no Tonari no Kawaii Kemono
I'm on chapter two and I stopped reading cause it's boring. Started with sex right away and the plot isn't that interesting.
Drowning Fireworks
i'm confused. i do know that the protag sucks.
Himegoto - Juukyuusai no Seifuku
i'm pretty sure i read this before years ago but, forgot how it ended. i think that the end's cute and implies that the main character is still on her journey to figuring out how to express her femininity in ways that she's comfortable. it can be annoying how bad the characters are at communicating though.
