In these type of mangas where everything is green and going fine you always see some tropes played like the accident( with or without amnesia) , break up bcz of miscommunication, low self esteem, family dispute or homofobia.
it is just Canon event you cannot escape it. I was literally waiting the accident I was sure something like that will happen ╮(￣▽￣)╭
