they truly are the epitome of doomed soulmates and that itself pains me a lot. the author better give them a happy ending and a bunch of lighthearted side stories of these two together once the angst ends
im not saying that what jaeon did was rational but he's literally being threatened with a knife on a vital spot AND is drugged with toxins on his body.
not only that, he is up against 3 or 4 guys who could outnumbered him. also the implication on how they've been doing this to their other victims also doesn't help (fucking rapists—)
how could he ever think straight without being potentially stabbed to death and risk both him and inha in danger
it may not be an ideal plan, esp how jaeon himself feels disgusted over this, but given how he's under these circumstances, it's just off-putting to blame the victim in this scenario
