I think it’s a bit insensitive on art teams to use judaism as a symbol to represent someone who has uhh white skin and to save Kaluta which is totally inspired by middle eastern aesthetic. Omg yes all the Kaluta, the symbolism and background information used is very superficial and kinda ignorant. They could easily rethink things since it's a work of fiction. And I understand that the behind-the-scenes production of these stories is rushed and that the creators (if it's an original story and not based on an existing novel) don't have time to research and polish things. I think it’s because they like the arabian aesthetic but make it out very poorly without doing the research. Same thing also happens to a bl novel who did the cowboy theme. But one of the scenes the writer make a main character who is WHITE free the black slave. I was shocked. The manhwa ended up getting cancelled. So this shit happened too many times.
