Father was the nephew of the current head of Zahar and it seems like he got killed for trying to leave the Zahar family with Turans mother
Seems like Meisa is endgame and also Turan becomes good friends with muscular dude with mommy dommy kink but randomly attracts gay gymbros. This made me laugh

I never really cared about heroine in story like this, but if meisa is the one, then it is great. She is very much his equal in a sense.

The current head of Zahar is Turans great uncle. Turans parents are a Zahar knight and a basically a war trophy daughter of a storm knight family. They fell in love and planned on running away together but the Zahar grandfather Tallis (second in command of Zahar) found out and killed his own son, Turans dad
