on one hand, i am happy nodeok is prioritizing their health and taking 4 months off for maximum recovery. but on the other hand, i don't like the implication that the story will end upon their return. don't get me wrong, i was hoping for a happy ending, but i really like the slowburn and anxiety as to wether there will be a happy ending or not. so in a way, i am bummed about having the anxiety taken away and and the ending coming so soon...
i am too lost to understand anything that's going on atp
if i’m correct than pyeonghwa is one of the consequences of incheol’s actions back when he was basically freshly employed and hasn’t dirtied his hands to the point of his current state. 22 is a series of flashbacks interwoven into his revelation of who pyeonghwa is. this basically means:
1. pyeonghwa was likely one of the first victims in incheol’s path of politics and consequently one of the cases that began incheol’s life as that woman’s concubine/pet
2. that asshole that sent him here to “solve” this case figured everything out and purposefully set him up AND THE BOSS INCHEOL WORKED FOR APPROVED OF THIS AS SOME SICK TEST OF LOYALTY
pls take with grain of salt everything i know comes from kdramas depicting corrupt politicians
pretty sure that advisor joo(?) has it out for him so no for him this is to watch incheol (hopefully) unravel. if incheol does perfectly as he always does it’ll still be amusing to watch him struggle (the phone call in of itself was signs of his struggle).
as for the boss incheol works for i’ll have to reread

i finally understand what people mean when they say "nothingburger" about something. this truly was a burger full of nothing!
