I'm almost halfway done with the novel. While I like the manhwa first, it feels rushed and some parts feel missing. Then I found out the first chapter of the manhwa is actually the 7th chapter of the novel which is insane skip the manhwa changes a lot and they don't even explain why the cats chose Isaac at first. The novel actually told how the cats and Isaac met and why the cats need him in early chapters. And the part where the prince fucked the escort in front of everyone actually happened first before the prince and Isaac met each other due to the wish. Anyway I recommend reading the novel because the manhwa jumps a lot of parts and mixes the sequences.
Why is the rating so low lol the first few chapters actually made me think this is gonna be super toxic dark or some shit but surprisingly there's a lot more comedy in this than i thought lmao i really like it so far i think I will read the novel later

Reading this peak again because I can't find other stories with chaotic MC that has so many disadvantages but still manage to turn the tables and give shit back to people who wrong him lol.
Only thing I lowkey want more story of is the MC's ex honestly he's such a nice guy. And that prosecutor guy too. feels a bit rushed near the end But this still ends nicely 10/10
Finished the novel and well all I can say is don't expect much from the ML lol. He truly is a villain until the end. He will treat mc better later on but he didn't regret a single thing he did nor did he apologize for it. The story suddenly shifted to a romantic vibe near the end which felt kind of off (?) after everything MC went through because of ML, very anticlimactic ending actually. But i do admire how consistently evil they make the ML lol he didn't change at all, no amount of chasing arc regret arc can save his ass
I like that even though the manhwa ver is 90% comedy, they always lock in to serious scenes and make sure it delivers the emotional and heartbreaking moments a justice. Even when there are some comedy you can still feel yoojin's anxiety and uneasiness and how he doesn't feel like he belongs there because he is the only one who had lost something precious and knew the future.
This is painful to read but I also like how real this feels. It really is an adult story made by adult for adults. It doesn't feel like reading your typical BL where characters magically fix their family, financial or job problems once they got together. The writing is so poetic and bittersweet and what both MC and ML went through really prick me into reality. Couples do fight, sometimes one give in to the other and sometimes things just dont work out. But I think that what's make me look forward even more to how the mc and ml tackle these problems. I love how well written they are, they genuinely feel like real mature adults with real problems. They handle it maturely but also childish and petty at the same time.
I haven't checked if this has novel yet but I really need to read it
Is it just me or i feel like the author had a certain plan with the story but in the middle they changed their mind? I read this in one sitting and it feels like the story suddenly shifted in the middle. Not that im complaining I still enjoy it anyway

Idk if this has novel but I feel like the main plot point is solid but not properly fleshed out so everything feels so rushed and the writing ends up very childish. I lowkey still enjoy it nevertheless but it's such a waste of good premise
Jungseo is such a good mc omg. Im so used to mc misunderstanding shit and running away so seeing jungseo act like actual mature adult, try to communicate, listen to his partner and face is all on is so damn cool
Totally unrelated but the story about a girl raped by entertainment ceo and a mom died while fighting for justice, dad falling into despair losing both is all so real. It actually happened in real life and the perpetrator? got away everytime. It's just a BL but I love how they cover such heavy topic that actually happened irl. Most bl/ romance-focused stories about police don't really cover much (which makes sense because it's romance-focused in the first place not crime-focused genre) especially about the emotional part where MC has to face the victims etc I really love this
