Seeing the hand that pulled mc's friend look like the mc's scarred hand, made me think that the dungeon evolved because it disappeared and then came back. And I guess it kinda uh- made itself strong like the mc? Like- it took the mc as its inspiration and upgraded itself to make it strong (, idk) and mc was marked ¯_(ツ)_/¯
