Why is Isis so concerned about Osiris’ reputation? Does it have anything to do with their (Isis and Horus) credibility for challenging Seth’s reign? Because I remember they hinge their revolt on Osiris’ death by Seth’s hands.
And also damn, imagine people trying to reveal something horrible that happened to you. This chapter pissed me off.
I'm so confused with Isis honestly. It always seemed like her anger is somewhat misguided and she knows it is, but pushes through with it anyways. She has every right to be hate Seth. But she also has every right to hate Osiris.
Another thing that is not clear to me in this chapter is, why does she feel horrible? About what?
Thank you for explaining her reaction! I was a bit confused why she felt horrible in this new chapter.
Also wow I never saw that she was trying to get Osiris through Seth! So she's out to destroy every god that wronged her. I need to reread everything again once this season is finished. I do dislike her character but I couldn't quite capture her motivations. Thank you for explaining this bit!
Is that so? But why did she react the way she did when Osiris reappeared after being “dead”? Was it an act or does she still love him? I felt like she didn’t blame Osiris as much as she blamed the circumstances during the flashback and everything else. She was driven to get revenge but it was revenge on Seth because he made her live hell and killed her husband (that was the start off reasoning at least)
I also need to reread to better understand because now I feel like it’s getting more confusing haha
OMG THANK YOU FOR THIS UPDATE! I remember back in college, I would read this novel instead of writing my thesis. I should read this again :’)
