yes, so far dani has been keeping quiet that this world is a novel and they are just characters written by someone, but it has been explored that dani would suddenly disappear (tho they don't know why) and they tried their best to remember dani even if she disappear again (which work and she came back again)

Then she has to hide/run away to be save and lay low until everything is sorted out. She tries to go to fairy or mermaid land. He caches her on the way and big DRAMA. End of drama something happens he repents but sacrifices himself at the end.
Wondering if after some events he ends up going crazy with obsession and that clouds his common sense a bit, causing him to use his magic to assist the piano man then eventually regrets his actions and tries to play the pity party about how tragic his background as a backup prince was, which obviously wouldn’t justify his crazy actions
