Not really historical but you definitely have to try Black Haze. I got hooked instantly after reading the first chapter, it's a manwha.

Nothing is more sexy and stimulating than charas making making themselves better as they develop their craft. The progress on this story is great and can I say how the art became even more gorgeous?! I am wishing for a 2nd volume. I want things to end with a pretty bow on top. Encore!!!
