I wonder if he was out on reconnaissance since Bofuri is an extremely young group that recently changed it's vibes from a pit of violence to something similar to theirs and is now slowly gaining respect and influence. That'd be interesting. And while they just have close connections for now and a while yet, with the recent connections between their surrounding groups it wouldn't be strange if time eventually joined the groups. Both time and geography could lead to their rise.
Regardless of what happens with Suo, it'd be cool if their groups develop some sort of connection, if only as communications. Oh! They could get Suo back with a student transfer type thing!
I wonder if their groups have the same sort of idea about "protecting the town"? And how they interact with their citizens and legal authorities and so on. I wonder who the other two officers are and what ethnicities/regions they're based off? Korea? SWANA? SE Asian? Irish? American? I want the lore! I want the worldbuilding!
Goddamn but I'm curious how this'll go. Maye I should check out some fanfic to see others ideas before the author spells it out for us, that's always interesting.

I love when they came out and everyone had a heart attack because J was sopping wet with blood like straight out of some horror movie. Experienced top class hunters on the brink of fainting from fright XD
Not to mention the sounds they kept hearing from outside. Our brain imagines the worst of things just from sound alone. So it's understandable..
I honestly don't mind this arc, it's got some character and relationship building potential. Worldbuilding opportunities too. I just hope that it's a small arc. Miscommunications like are awful when their dragged out, I sincerely hope it doesn't consume the story.
Honestly loving the detail of their parents getting along and their families being so connected already. idc if it's illegal there, in my mind the moment they've both graduated from college they get married with a nice wedding
