This story isn’t >that< confusing, though I understand why it can be. I hope my explanation can help fellow readers who are still lost,

I just finished reading till the latest chapter which is chapter18,

From what I can comprehend thus far, it’s a story about a Princess who is regaining back the empire, that is the basic plot.

The title on her being two faced is because she places a mask Or a facade of being this weak minded and easy going princess that follows her father’s word and obeys him,
The father and his sister are trying to get rid of her because she is the last imperial bloodline or aka “Royalty”, she herself is plotting many plans and using pieces as needed to get the empire back from this greedy mofo and bitch. The father is simply greedy and a blatant tyrant, gaining power and influence to win over the kingdom and rule as he wishes alongside his sister. Her father’s simple plan was to get her married to another kingdom and forge an alliance through political marriage and gain strength that way; however, the auntie wanted her dead and hired an assassin, which is the lil wolf cutie we see who is her current bodyguard and I am gonna assume from the front cover art, will become her future to be right hand man and loyal knight, it’s befitting to see how it they met and how they got tied together. The wolf puppy definitely holds moral and a dignity seeing as he doesn’t blindly follow all orders and wishes to not take this task but was forced to because of contracts and his life at stake, but the princess undo the shackles and freed him, he swore fidelity and will protect her even at his own life. How sweet.

It’s quite obvious the current kingdom is in ruin and is ruled by chaos seeing how even r*pe is turned a blind eye from the scum of stupid commoners right now and pigs, since all the royal court were killed and replaced by people that favored the Tyrant Bastard, and the loser master didn’t get charged with a crime when he committed the act on Adriana. Which is why a benevolent ruler of imperial blood is the true ruler for a kingdom rather than a normal commoner aka her father that bastard tyrant since he was nothing more than some sort of warrior head knight that married the mother but he killed both her and former Emperor lol.

In the beginning it showed how the princess raised maids to be perfect materials and ideal women for various princes across the country so they are to be married off into royalty to become Queens and in return they swore to pay back the princess which is most likely political power and further influence, it will definitely help the princess in the long run, beneficial to even creat trade and further power, and in addition she escapes political marriage on her end so that she can remain her home to continue scheming.

The story telling bounces from her scheming and her preparations to flashbacks i think? Which is basically just more preparations if anything.

I personally like this new story where it’s a fantasy of a Princess who lost her beloved mother and grandfather who was the Emperor but got killed and backstabbed by the husband of the Queen (simply cuz he had a previous lover he had to throw away cuz of royal stuff and is just simply greedy), and now she is going to reclaim her kingdom. It’s that kind of story, it’s a little on the heavy side and will definitely be fulfilling to see her end goal achieved.
