Yul has some audacity to ask her to visit their moms grave. Sui should despise her mom and Yul is nothing but a physical reminder of her mom's affair so I can understand why she would hate him too despite him actually being innocent.

I think it might be more about how to make yul feel secured she(the mother) may have avoided sui intentionally or unintentionally while being attentive to yul. Cuz if it's about affairs a child's grudge is mostly a result of observing the other parent's distress. it's a spouse's resentment or grudge or pain to hold on. Which doesn't seem much likely as of now.

Fictional characters are not real. They are lines on a page, they are words, they are concepts. You can do whatever you want to a fictional character and you will never hurt them. You can’t violate them. They don’t have thoughts or feelings because they do not exist. Your fics/art/ships/headcanons might make someone happy, or it might upset them.

Real people exist. They have thoughts and feelings. They have boundaries. It's absolutely not ok to treat real life people like objects that you can do whatever you want to.

If you deprive a real person of their rights because they enjoy Doujinshi of fictional underage characters, BL, or Yaoi you have fallen into territory of wrongdoing.

Art for art’s sake has merit, and people can create and consume fiction based on what they want and what they value without having to justify it.

Fictional characters may not be real, but to an extent they are a reflection of the manner in which we perceive reality. We project our own desires onto these fictional characters. Trying to justify the consumption of underage or non consensual content is really akin to navigating murky waters, since they have so many implications. And this comes from someone who occasionally reads yaoi with really... dubious content. Though I understand where you are coming from and agree to an extent with it HOWEVER it is not true that Our Reality and Our Fiction are mutually exclusive events, since they are entangled in a variety of complex ways. Humans are prone to (though varying degrees depending on their characters, age etc.) conflating fiction with reality, whether consciously or subconsciously. The romanticisation of non con relationships and sexual intercourse which involves underaged vulnerable children in fiction can easily perpetuate harmful and detrimental mentalities especially in those whose minds get more easily manipulated. I don't think that it's a simple matter of fiction being a completely detached reality since it's much more nuanced than that. I think we all have to remain conscious of the type of material we consume, its possible implications, and how to avoid subconsciously misconstruing such fiction for our reality.

At most consuming such media repeatedly may cause unconscious bias, but for the most part as long as someone can think independently and knows the difference between reality and fiction it is not a problem.

Fiction is detached from reality just like emotions and feelings are. Changing people's emotions is part of the artistic desire. This is why people create art, and this is also why people with the artistic desire to change people's emotions but lack the artistic talent turn to trolling on the internet. Fiction has the ability to change someone's emotions but emotions are not reality and are only real to the person experiencing them.

I think it is important to understand that. Mental health needs differ. What some people would consider obscene might be healthy and helpful for someone else. A revenge story with Mc raping, and abusing the antagonist might be a good way to process anger for someone but for someone else they might find it does more harm than good.
