This story was so beautiful. Works like these needs to be read with a more realistic mind as it leans towards the truer side of things in terms of the time period this was set on, but I digress. Everything in this manhwa is just too perfect. It was so moving, I actually could hear the group’s swords being unsheathed altogether at the proposal scene— I think this will stick with me for a while.

Killing stalking was just cinematic, portrayed Stockholm syndrome really well and shows how trauma can really shape your mindset/personality. I’ve read till ch37 and I just can’t bring myself to finish it so I just went ahead and read the last chapter to bring myself some closure but not only did it bring me pain but HELLA ton of curiosity with how the plot would’ve went.

This was such a wonderful read!! It’s rare to find pieces of works like these that make their characters feel so alive and human, it honestly almost makes me want to root for everyone even if it means supporting the antagonists. The plotline? Flawless. The romance? auto 100/100 ☆!
On a side note, the plot does progress on the slower side, but that just makes everything unfold so naturally. Plus, it’s all properly translated too!!
