What I hated the most is that Airi was still in "contact" with her parents, them present at her wedding, in-laws/husband getting to meet them. Realistically if you got treated like Airi, parents are out of your life forever. But unfortunately this was for the plot. she needed to open up to Yuto, even if it took ridiculously long. Also don't even get me started on the characters thinking every family relationship is sunshine and rainbows. Oml.
Actually realistically there are still people who would do the same to make the perfect imagine of having both parents and make it seem they had a good “childhood” to YOU it’s unrealistic. You just put down many who lived her life of getting along with the broken past even if they don’t want to.
