Nodeok has never said anything about illegal sites, iirc, so i don’t think this is related to their health issues at all. Using illegal sites isn’t black and white.

You can do it fighting! I was fully ignorance illegal readers too before but since last year after entering university and got extra money because staying at home I slowly started supporting the author as much as I'm able to.
Yes you do sound dumb at some point but do know some of us will support the author once we get our money, I personally read here if I don't have money to spare or if I like the series I will buy it. We have our own pace of changing, slowly some of us will support the author once we have money for it in the future.
There is nothing wrong with using an illegal site and transitioning to being a legal reader. I would say that's a good change but being ashamed of it is just dumb because some of us don't have money to start with, and slowly we have a goal in mind and we work hard to achieve that. Which is being able to support the authors legally. So I hope you understand what I meant, because it seems this was the same case as you, but don't make some of the readers feel more ashamed anymore.
Also, Nodeok never said anything about it being related to her health issues. Since she personally draws the manhwa, it might be because she needs to rest her joint muscles on her hands, which is pretty common for artists btw. Also, it's normal for artists to take a break every season ends because of overworking. I didn't like how you assumed it was because of her mental health when she never said it but I get what you mean.
I have Manta subscription too but I read on Mangago because they don't have NC version and the updates are slow. So I am supporting on Manta and in the same time, I am reading on Mangago
I know illegal sites are not really good, but in the same time, I don't think it only negative. For example for old manga/webtoon/etc that you can't find know or because your country doesn't allow it, or whatever you want.

I know manta's fonts sucks, but at least be thankful and be happy there is an official one. Also, FOS had an all age version to start with, you can find it on ridibooks. So no need to diss on it

Why do I need to read the incomplete version when I can read the complete version in ridi. LMAO. Manta definitely sucks and you must admit it. Funny. Also people barely touch the all ages in ridi too. PFFT. The smut part in this series gives more insights about the characters btw and they even have corresponding dialogues not just limited to sex sounds. Lmao. Why pick the lesser when there’s the better.
