Everyone has his own delusion and with this chapter I actually do not hate Sunhwa that much now, he clearly cares for Maokyeon for him to still open the door for him.
It's not about Sunhwa caring about Mokyeon, it's about him not giving a fuck about Nanjo when the later thought he was "saving" him with everything he did.
It's actually understandable why he cares more for Mokyeong than Nanjo. He grew up with Mokyeong, they become best friend, sex friend, that one friend where you do "shit" together. Both Mokyeong and Sunhwa are actually red flag, they also knew they are red flag. The one pitiful here is Nanjo who are being used, but I still think he has some background story on why he is so attach to Sunhwa. Anyway, it's not surprising that he can ignore Nanjo like that as I said he is red flag. I just appreciate their friendship at the moment which I think will be over after this, hahaha, as Mokyeong did not care what Sunhwa would felt. Wow! I love the story. This is one I think I am willing to reread and I'm someone who never reread even my essay. This is good, the plot is interesting, their love story. I like that we really are involve in the world of lawyers which has so much to learn from.
This is an example when a trauma is not properly dealt with and healed. The boy is trying to cope with the sudden lose and need, he cope with his "trauma" in a very toxic way and the seme is a trash who used others for his gain.
