Wait why is everyone so upset, isn't this story just exploring how a kid feels when they have crush? What sexual aspect? What pdf? Well, I'm the type to marinate manga and just open new chapter occasionally so I don't really get it. What I happen to read is just how tsubaki feels and how he described about his crush or something. And I never see the nii-chan do something bad or explicit, but why he is labeled as pdf now? Im shocked. What chapter exactly he act like jeffrey? Or potentially, maybe?
Well if go bathump bathump or being flattered is considered bad and explicit then I don't know what to say. I don't get it (=・ω・=)
Honestly I haven’t read it in like a few years so I can’t speak completely informed but I feel like it’s the implication or something like that. You know using the wording shota and oni idk it has a weird tone so I feel like that’s why people are against it even if it’s not showing anything necessarily bad it still feels weird
Where did he reciprocate, what are people reading, 2 chapters dedicated to it and he maturely rejected if that is what you mean, that's also why tsubaki is still obsessed with drinking milk to grow up. Those bonus ch where author teases us with grownup version they are also present, I used explain those ppl about these but now I just say they'll stay the same to annoy them
I don’t remember clearly since the chapters take long to update, but I’m sure there were scenes in which yu nii express the early stages of a crush: possessiveness, jealousy (towards that guy yu nii studies with) and the way he reacts when tsunami touches him or the way it’s implied yunii thought tsunami wanted something sexy happening between them. It’s a on the line, I understand the appeal of playing with taboos, still to someone will be nauseating
Ngl I love the way you portray it as a child pov. Ngl I've seen boys when I was in elementary like someone I highschool. It gives off a fluffy feeling of the nii-chan is overprotective cause he treats him as a little brother or is it something else?? but ig being a manga in their pov and gae makes it pdf .... Their brain is close.
I generally avoid the comment section of this manga because there are so many people reading this as something sexual -- whether in a gross way (as in that's why they're reading it because they're pdfs) or in a way where they're expressing discomfort (which is fine, I just don't feel the same and so I ignore the people who present the events in that sort of light because I don't even want to think about the kind of things they're suggesting)
But that aside, I personally just find this manga really fluffy and cute and wholesome. Yuu has a lot of affection for tsubaki but nothing really inappropriate. He's flustered (and maybe a little flattered) by tsubaki's expressions of romantic interest but has turned him down, maintained boundaries, and hasn't done anything inappropriate.
There was the part were he started getting a little jealous and possessive as someone pointed out (which he realized was embarrassing and kind of childish if I'm remembering right), but I still don't think that indicates anything specifically romantic.
I know that when my younger siblings were little and super cute and fun to play with, there was a degree of jealousy when they were playing with someone else. It's also not uncommon to experience jealousy or even possessiveness when a close friend of yours is hanging out with someone new. It does indicate a deeper level of interest and affection that is often presented as a romantic-y thing in media but in reality, that's not the only situation someone might feel that way
Admittedly, the framing of the story does suggest that they will eventually be mutually in love, which is why these things can read to some people as explicitly romantic and therefore inappropriate
But it just doesn't feel that way to me. Yuu is also a kid but he's really good to realize that even if tsubaki is directly asking him out, he has a responsibility as the older one to take care of tsubaki by maintaining safe boundaries because he loves him (again, not an explicitly romantic kind of love, but definitely a very close and affectionate kind)
The one thing that does concern me is how the author is depicting how tsubaki is starting to mature a bit and show interest in those kinds of inappropriate things, but so far that aspect seems to be shown in a way that is still appropriate for his age. This is the one place where the story is starting to toe the line for me though, and I will be dropping if they directly show tsubaki even imagining anything remotely explicit
Even if that's "realistic" for his age, I don't think it's right for an adult to be thinking about a child doing any of that, much less writing and illustrating a manga about it
Sorry, I really need to work on shortening my comments, but these were just kind of my thoughts on the whole thing

Bruh not only I can't ship the two guy on the cover, they also mix that low-rated plot here. Hah.. What a waste
