Oof. Well. He comes back. But he dies something to Bai that's absolutely horrible. But she forgives him for it right after because really, it wasn't his fault. I won't give detailed spoilers unless wanted ut the novel version of this is waaay ahead.

He comes back and she's overjoyed by the fact, somewhere along the line in the new village they all go to he ends up having to go confront a scorpion tribe (yes, giant scorpion beast men ugh) and gets poisoned by one. He comes back to find Bai Qingqing in a field but he starts hallucinating and well. He ends up raping her in his tiger form and cutting her up really badly. But instead of the others finding out HOW it happened, she just plays it off like they rolled around in the catnip field too much. His spousal mark ends up on her shoulder.

The best part about it is she starts to honestly fall for him (like she can lie, she already was but damn man..... Whyd it have to happen THAT way.) She later finds out that due to what he did and when, she's pregnant with his kid (but they don't know it yet) and it's a female!

Poor thing though, due to the poison in Winston's body at the time, she is born almost majority blind. That's as far a sive gotten in the story. Another major spoiler.

I can’t believe that’s how they end up doing it. I bet Winston feels really bad because he couldn’t control himself. Poor Bai, it wasn’t supposed to be like that ╥﹏╥. I can’t imagine what Curtis and Parker would do if they find out what he did to her. How did Curtis and Parker react when they saw the spousal mark?

Poor baby.

I wonder what Muir is up to? I don’t like him anymore since he tried to kill Curtis.

It's complicated but it all gets better! I do feel bad for all of them but Curtis needs to chill. He gets so dominating over Bai sometimes.

He literally knocks her up 3 times in 1 year! So many snake bebes. Jesus dude. But YEAH Muir comes back and she mates with him and has little bird bebes. I don't know how that transpires yet though. Honestly when you think about how animals work and how they fight for their mates, it makes since that he'd try to kill Curtis to get Bai to be his. He was truly caring for her and loved her but it didn't make what he did right AND HE KEEPS PARKER AWAY FROM HER WHILE SHE'S GIVING BIRTH TO THE KITTENS. What a jerk.
