Because i always ended up liking every twist and turn of the plot they make! AND THIS ONE FOR SURE TOO! A GREAT START OF THE YEAR ALREADY!
I'm glad I've left this to marinate. The story is impeccable. It's not your usual romance, it took on a very different route nothing was drag on, everything fits perfectly that i am just left in awe. I love the fact that the story clearly shows the unreliable narration of different perspective.
Most of the chapters were written in chloes perspective, where we see the complete tug of war of her emotions between love and pride, dignity and acceptance. And with damien's side, we see how unreliable his expression of love, and how naive he is with his own emotion that led to many complicated route. I love every part of it, the agony, pain, and lost; as well as becoming, acceptance and devotion. It's one of a kind since it never overglaze the mistake and wrong doings by each character and was also not glorified, yet they were able to find a middle ground with the person they love showing their bare self to each other. Thiis is definitely a good read.....not just an entertainment, I've learned a lot. From leadership, honesty and courage, I've truly learned a lot. I'm just so happy i was able to read this.
Fun fact though, their love is so intense i find it so funny that in the early chapters there's no sign nor warning that is given before i see their clothes scattered around and like "AGAIN?" LMAO I AM ALWAYS SHOCKED AND EMBARRASSED MYSELF WITH HOW OFTEN IT WAS. LIKE CALM DOWN PEOPLE! But well they love each other, I'm not complaining just find it funny because chloe my Gurl CAN RIDE WAHAHAHAHAH
