He isn't abusive, forcefully or mean. plus he communicate his feelings honestly, and admit to his mistakes, BUT he still just a MAN he ain't worth risking her life like love is good living is better
I totally get your point but in his defence she didn't try either. Wish is perfectly normal for both of them, have you ever seen a teenager they represse their feelings, thoughts and dreams even about the smallest most insignificant thing like their favourite food add to that their social ranks and responsibilities and you end up with two repressed young adults that can't communicate even when their lives at stake
I mean she just dedicated the last 3years of her life to him (2y observing before she came back in time) and this year rebuilding his self esteem, getting revenge for him, carrying his family legacy, and carving out an immovable social position for him
Don't get me wrong I understand his point of view this are his two childhood besties plus he had no way of knowing that getting even for him was her sole reason for staying alive
I mean both are shit at communicating but it's more in a we in our early 20's still not knowing how the world works all while battling chronical depression way than hah insert miscommunication trope

I stand by what I said he is the perfect mix of the wire mother (cool inhuman think that the child is forced to depend on for affection because it's the only thing they have) and Amy dunne.
