she did nothing to earn the forgiveness. if the author wants to make him forgive his mom, at least SHOW SOMETHING that her mom deserves the forgiveness.
Also those who are saying he did the same as his mum is so so wrong. the difference is hyesung realised his mistakes and come back not long after, dont forget abt how his trauma of being ABANDONED by his mom makes him scared of being a parent. i don’t know why ppl always bring this up like ppl forget cuz we didn’t.

In real life sometimes it does happen like that… it could just be so he’s at peace with himself. I forgave my dad even though he didn’t do anything but it was FOR ME.
This, she didnt do jack shit for forgiveness. And the only time she even considered wanting forgiveness is when she was broke.

EVERYONE ITS THE LISTS ARE FINALLY BACK. THANK GOD
for a moment I was really worried (〜￣△￣)〜
People keep saying it felt rushed, but that’s not even my main issue. The real problem is that it lacked emotional payoff. After all that buildup, the ending didn’t feel raw, authentic, or emotionally charged. It felt more like something that had to be done than something the characters truly lived through.
It’s not about side stories fixing it later. The main ending should have delivered that emotional release on its own, and for me, it just didn’t do justice to everything that was built up.

real it was 80% of jaekyung being a complete cruel dick, then 20% of minor introspection from him. There was no chase arc!! Dan relented this whole second part of the story too. What a letdown.
