If you stole something and is enjoying it and the rightful owner is asking for it back and you bedgrudgingly act like a child about giving it back, is it not rational for the owner to retaliate? Saying stuff like no one is going to read the author's work anymore or they will lose their fanbase, respectfully that's not exactly what u said a week ago when you are simping for the characters that THEY made.
