Okay lemme start by saying I was a huge fan of the kpop group Infinite, and I may be delusional but my Inspirit(fandom name) heart is telling me this story might be lowkey inspired from them. Specifically their song "The Chaser".
To start with, all the characters here have used every member's last names, one even has the member's actual name, Myungsoo (AKA: L), other than that the ML lowkey looks like L in some panels but it may be hard to see for a non-fan.
The story fits the lyrics of the song, and a certain scene is present in both this story and the song's MV.
Then again this is just me yapping about my delulu.

This story is so masterfully created that they somehow manage to inflict the emotions to the readers. Going through the dark, somber, and heavy parts of the story literally feels like I'm the one suffering. The read-through feels like a trudge and the emotions are so heavy I can't breathe.
Then scrolling through a few more chapters made me realize why was that so. They really did an astounding job in depicting every single mental illnesses portrayed by the characters, so much so that this could pass as a psychological study case if we're ignoring the fact that it's BL.
As someone heavily interested in the intricacies of psychology, I can say with utmost certainty that this feat is nothing short of impressive, it's not easy to fully encapsulate the pain, suffering, and torture of having mental health problems, especially when you're not the one afflicted, yet they somehow managed to show it with so much detail that it made me feel concern for the author if they've written this from experience.
