From what I remember the girl is returning to her father's house and she rode a train then a man came in and cornered he to the bed and and threatened to hurt her if she didn ot moan to confuse the people trying to kill him. When more military man barged into the room looking for the guy all they saw was a man and woman in a compromising position so they left.
Also she stole his gun while the guy was on top of her. He left after that then they saw each other again and then the man cornered her to his car and then showed her how he tortures?? something like that.
wouldnt it make sense that the reason that the duke is so repulsed by noah is because noah's mom r*p*d him and the result of that is noah? plus the way he views women just add to that theory.
