I think ml unconsciously has feelings for the mc, just not in a sexual way. He's more of feeling possessive towards the mc, he doesn't want theur relationship to end so he thinks he forced himself to become his boyfriend. But after the mc turns into an omega, the ml jerked off while thinking about the mc. He feel disgusted by that thought. Until now, in the latest chapter, he couldn't accept loving the mc in a sexual way. The ml's past is the reason why he turned like that. But he's loyal. There's no cheating happened in the last seven years they're together. It's just full of angst, roller-coaster feeling. And I'm here for it..
