Keeps getting better each time I revisit it, picking up details I missed previously They do have some beautiful intense chemistry too.
For what it was, it made me laugh a few times. Happy the main couple finally got on the same page etc.
But...
I really didn't like Dobin's pair up/meet up. He is a romantic soul. He practically got abused/punched in the elevator, then raped. All in the same day as just getting rejected by Yeong
Yeah, on re-reads I skip his stuff cuz it makes me sad Dobin deserved a LOT better
I completely agree! Dobin is so pure he definitely deserves someone better to be his “destined love.”
He was so sweet. He deserved SO much better than her got..
It is so nice and a big mental breather to finally read something that is not outright abusive, toxic, and the "I own you and will do as I please and you will like it " trope. Love the art as well. Please stay in the green I really love the Seme and think they will make a wonderful couple.
Don't know what I was expecting when I started to read this. But this has so much tragedy on so many levels - For each of the characters. They all can do with some serious counselling.
Yes, every one of them is a victim of circumstance in their own way, but Jiwook has suffered so much and lost so so much! At this point I'm not even sure anymore of what would be a good outcome.
Jiwook's solo birthday celebration that time just broke my heart. And through it all he still keeps trying to survive.
Apart from the obvious thing that's wrong with this, I get the impression the author really didn't know what they wanted to do with this"story". And was the last chapter supposed to be a redemption arc?...
