Every time I reread this the angst it always gets me no matter what. It’s just so sad to see Shizuka to hate himself just because he is an omega, he can’t control that, he thinks his existence is a burden even though he tries so hard and puts others needs above his own every single time. And then Renji, he was literally just thrown into the world of alphas and omegas when he’s been a beta all his life with no prior knowledge and experience with people of other secondary genders. It’s complete normal for someone his age to kinda reject this sort of change that happened so quickly, but finally when he was starting to except that he is an alpha and that he really does love Shizuka, he hurts the one person that shows him unconditional love when had no control over his body and with possibility of not seeing Shizuka again, and he blames himself for it because of his lack of experience even though he is so young. It’s just so sad on both ends, all they want is to live and love like normal couples this shit is so heartbreaking

This is unfair for me to say but what the actual fuck I hate both Ian and TJ, but I gotta understand that they both went through a lot of shit together and the only ones who could truly understand each other, but my brain is telling me that Jo was the better choice. In my mind, Ian really wanted to leave his past life of violence and live a peaceful life, meaning he would leave TJ as he is part of his past and didn't want to leave his life as a gangster (at the time). And Jo would be the start of his new normal life. I was hoping that Jo would be end game because he truly did love and yearned for Ian and he was a good guy, but I’ve realized after reading this chapter that isn’t realistic. Jo could never truly understand Ian like TJ and Ian kinda having that guilty conscience of him not “deserving” someone like Jo. I’m still frustrated as I really don’t like TJ at all and, in my head, Ian making the “wrong” choice. I’ll get over it but damn that shit made me mad
