I'm all about perfection as well.... like... if it doesnt look rly rly similar to whatever i was drawing, I throw it away. ... and it bugs me when theres a mistake but idk how to fix it without ruining everything
Same here even though I m not really that good at drawing but still it pisses me off if I don't proper I keep on until I m satisfied benz
My mom was a pretty good artist... like... she could sketch decently... (but she hates anime -.-). the one thing i learned from her is how to see things in relationship to one another.. like... oh, this hair strand is slightly longer that that other one and it should be about this far away from the other one and just a little bit above and to the right of the ear and like right above the eye (these are what im thinking as im drawing) so thats how I draw.... but the thing is that only works if im looking at something.....

My dad is all about math and school n such and my mom is all about art and music n such and appreciating art they talk about it so much to the point that it annoys me so im like a math genius >:D which i got from my dad i guess and i can draw so i guess i got that from my mom and i can play music... which i may have gotten from my mom but she just likes music, she cant play anything.... well anyways, i can do stuff but im super lazy so in the end i still fail at everything

in school we had to do an anti-drug campaign project thing and i chose to draw a picture cuz thats the only thing i can do and it was AWESOME like... legitimately awesome... but the school never gave it back to me and i also kind of cheated.......................................

:D thx :D Since i moved to China there arent many mechanical pencils here (or at least I dont own any) and i have no sharpener so its annoying to use pencil so i just draw with pen now :P
Tbh sometimes I prefer pen for some reason when I draw with it turns out good. I use pencil only when I m so enthusiastic and want to draw a masterpiece or something lol with pen I have the problem of scribbling (don't know if I m making sense there)

Yeah I think I get it. for me drawing with pen are a lot easier and faster because its in pen so Im less picky about how its gonna turn out so I dont have to go back and erase every time i draw 1 centimeter and its in pen so i feel proud of it too. It also doesnt rub off as easily. ive made some masterpieces but they were all ruined by rubbing

I just regret not taking a good picture of it so I can compare it to stuff I draw later to see how much Ive improved
