At first I totally thought of Outarou as a creepy Casanova, and was ready for him to find out Ran was actually ten, get humiliated that he was falling for a kid, and never show up in the story again. I was able to not see him as a pedo, because I knew he was oblivious to Ran's true age (though even being a teenager like he thought she was, she'd still be under-aged). But then, as the story progressed, and Ran and Outarou's relationship continued I became quite sappy and attached with their interactions, and the way Ran was influencing Outarou. Especially when all the trouble starts happening, and how both Ran and Outarou just wanted to protect each other. OMG, so I was fortunate enough to stumble across the manga "Ran to Haiiro no Sekai" and fell in love with the story and characters. I will be talking about events that contain spoilers, so don't read until you read the manga:
So above is a fan requested picture for Ran and Outarou's wedding. I really wish this is how the manga ended, because I really fell in love with how cute their relationship was and how Ran was changing Outarou for the better. I understand why the manga killed him off, how this gives Ran a reason to mature and find herself, and how it leads to a romantic development for Ran and Hibiki (Which I really like them together too, I just feel like Ran and Outarou were soul mates) so I really just wanted this ending to happen.
