Wish the author didn't kill the guy off like that, there was plenty of drama already, such a deflating end. Yes it's seinen, but come on, let one character have their "nice ending" instead of it all being about Bambino who always lands on his feet!
164 chapters of a manga is far sure more of a commitment to read than 164 chapters of a webtoon, but it's worth it. The MC may start of annoying, emotive etc but it's a story about growth and his poor behaviour isn't left unchallenged which allows for growth. Guess today people would slate this as being "cultural appropriation" but it was interesting seeing how the Japanese patrons of the more rural restaurant were at first given a guide on what to expect from Italian cuisine (that pasta was eaten al dente etc) and how the chef used the spirit of Italian cuisine and adapted it with the ingredients to hand.
Wonderful cooking seinen manga. Has a realistic way of showing the maturity of a really hot-blooded and self-entitled young man who loves to cook. Obviously, since it's seinen, it doesn't run like a shonen title like food wars; its a lot more mature in content and message.
I've got headache reading this manga. Not because it is bad, but because it is awesome. People reading manga to distracted themself from daily hardship, some just for a mere hobby. But this manga is a lesson, a lesson about a man who struggled and doing his best to achieve his dream. Nothing an easy road. Weak people will see this too vexing, because they will pushed to realized their own weakness. Yet, i still read. Because the more i read, the more i know my capability. I couldnt help but to compare myself with the protagonist. The thing is, what we become, then we will be.
Amazing, got me hooked for one and a half days and it went and finished like that. Can't wait to start on reading the sequel (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ and btw, since I'm quite a fujoshi, I trully wish for bambino to end up with Oda san ohoho!
great manga. usually i hate hot-headed protagonists, but the manga does a good job of portraying how he matures through his experiences at baccanale. wish there were more though! wasn't expecting it to end so abruptly. :(
