She's bitch to not appreciate her husband's kindness. Her husband is too kind to stand and bear his wife's spoiled action.

Altho i absolutely hate cheating and can't stand it,i do not hate it in here,Sure Natalie was at fault and too weak,but i do not blame her at all,they aren't like the modern people,who can freely chose their partner and have many advantages, Natalie was to be married off for being poor anyway, and she's absolutely lucky for marrying a man who loves her passionately, but u can't force love no matter how nice they're,And Pushin has his flaws too,he never tells Natalia his feelings,his thoughts,his insecurities,his childhood,his mom,his secrets,etc.,he only tells her that he loves her and treated her like a child,and Natalia, being dumb, not reading books, marrying early,as the way she was, she's literally still a child,and she couldn't grow as the way Pushkin treated her,and since Pushkin doesn't share anything with her,she wasn't able to have a deep bond with him, and for me,i actually didn't have any problem at all when Natalie was abt to elope with Georges D'anthes,i thought that,it would be extremely painful for Pushkin at 1st,and there's the children too,but they have the nannies to take care of the kids and who knows, Pushkin might evn be able to develop feelings for Alexandra later,or evn if he can't,i'm sure Alexandra will always be there to take care of him,and if they can all get through that the 1st few years, they'll all be able to get through it,i mean, life's short, I don't want Natalia to be miserable like that her whole life,she deserves to be happy too,and sometimes, even if u know what u're abt to do is unmoral and wrong,u just gotta ignore everything and anything else,and just go for it,but.. I'm really satisfied with the ending too,after Pushkin's death,and Gorges sent away,i seriously didn't know/couldn't predict what's gonna happen anymore,i was like,R they gonna get back? Is she gonna live in solitude?,And later,when i read that Natalie's sister bore 4childrn for Gorges,i was really glad,she must've finally felt happy with the absence of Natalie and Gorges finally treating her right,and evn tho she's dead, I'm sure it was a peaceful and fulfilled life for her,and the fact that Natalie remarried again surprised me a bit,but i didn't hate it,she found a good man,and evn tho she got the compensation money, being the naive sheltered girl with no skills whatsoever,in the future,if she were to encounter a problem/her daughter have to marry and she have to buy dresses,gowns, wedding preparation,etc. and their daily needs,she can't depend all on the compensation money,so a remarry for her is a good thing,also wanna say that the empress is prob the most mature woman, having a playboy husbnd like tht,it must've hurt,but she knows exactly what she needs to do and doesn't show jealousy or gets too attached and maintain a friendly relationship with her husband,i also love the tsar's thought and pov,and i really love the plot,artstyle and the poems,atho i skip some of them,i really respect the author and she really puts a lot of hard work into this,this is one of the best shojos/romance I've ever read,i wished there was a movie adaptation of this,i would def watch it
