I think this is the healthiest comment section I've seen in a while when they are talking about how they didn't like the manga or topics it had. Instead of everyone just shitting on the story most ppl have actually given constructive criticism and talk about how rei as a character is problematic without saying the story as a whole sucked.
The story is good it had bad points and good points and its really nice to see people understanding this. Just bc there are parts we don't like doesn't mean it makes it all bad, we can appreciate the authors work and separate it from our own opinions and ideas when reading while still giving feedback and pointing out the rl problems it normalizes.
