It didnt improve cause instead of letting him mingle with his age so he could develop his socials skill he chose to stay with his grandfather who could possibly have an autism too. Hes lucky he got to meet someone whose understanding but still hardheaded and hes starting to open up and speak up now.

the second couple’s lore/backstory is great but i’m just not into that kind of story. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
