What did I just read ? The art was pretty , and I guess I can’t blame anyone for the confusing book and strange ending ( unfortunately, author-San passed away a while ago). I’m talking more along the lines of rape and stuff . I didn’t feel anything when reading this because I didn’t get it . At times , it was interesting ig . Anyways , okay read . :)
Boy got more hands from his molesters and rapers in this one and the sequel more than from the guy he likes. How us he not traumatized. He went from fighting his first sexual assault, to "oh maybe this us normal and everyone's gay" Drew the line at chapter 7. Not going to keep reading about about stories that condone rape. Boy saved the first person that molested him, then in sequel he still trys to help the pedo. My head hurts to much for this lack of an actual story. And the characters personalities keep changing. Only the best friend seems to keep his personality.
The only actual plot to this story is the seme's past. The rest is just rape, molestation, and everyone suddenly turning gay for the uke. Not my cup of tea

They do that in American comics, but don't seem to treat manga that way. The only case I've really heard of a series being "completed" after an author's death for manga is "Itazura na Kiss", when the author had told her husband enough of her intended ending that when the work was turned into an anime they used the information he had to finish it. Other than that, works just aren't picked up by others.
Damn that kind really sucks but after reading that manga I feel that the Arthur had put a lot of work into their Monger and it’s a shame we had a loose such great author and before their book was even finished at that they will be missed though so I guess it’s cool all right but thanks anyways

Hey the second book is the Thunderbolt Boys. It’s right there with other manga by author. I’m not so sure about the death of the author but that is the second book to this.

You're correct. That is the sequel. However, it is somewhat incomplete because the mangaka did pass away in 2011 from a long illness.
i seriously didnt liked the the uke , he is so stupid to the point that its become irritating as the chapters progressed by moreover this manga feels incomplete , the ending was rushed its felt like many things were scattered here and there ..
Uhhh it IS incomplete......the author passed away so we’re just gonna have to imagine the ending ourselves (its kinda clear where it was going to go anyway, like his mom found out and they have to deal with the issue of Ritsu’s relationship with Natsui and it’s gonna reveal Ritsu’s past, whether the rumors about him and his stepfather were true...and I like to think the photographer got together with that model friend in the end...)

The characters look like exactly the same, their relationship is very similar and both stories include modelling.
Komatta has more of a decent story and they never confess their love to each other (which is annoying.)
