Idk what came to mind and I had read this thing all over again at 2am. Reading this for a second time, I Dont sympathize with the brother now AT ALL. He knew that his disgusting love for his sister was wrong, which is why he tried pushing her away—but in the end, he gave up and gave in to his disgusting desires for his sister.
What pains me the most is that sehwah never got to fully realize or understand her feelings for Gi-hoon. It really broke my heart when the brother gave the phone to Gi-hoon at the end. :((
Aside from it being incest….it was a good read. I think for a short length story like this it portrait a lot of potential…after all it’s a story by this amazing author. I’ve been postponing it for a while now but finally decided to give a thorough read today and it didn’t disappoint. I do think the ending was a bit rushed but other than this I don’t really have anymore complains about. If you’re thinking about reading it then go ahead without delaying any further. Because if you don’t let the incest part get to your head and bother you, you will like it and probably feel good after reading it (Also a little empty maybe).
I have to say from the moment sejoon brought the curse of the spouses reborn as fraternal twins, I knew they weren’t going to make it. Ultimately, I do think it’s the disturbing dichotomy of sejoon falling for his sister yet being terrified of the outside world finding out fostered such a twisted attachment from sewa. It’s like he wants her to himself so he actively sought to isolate her but he pushes her away out of guilt and desire to protect her from himself.
I feel bad for the parents too. Not only did their kids sleep together, but now they’re both dead. The curse played out tho. Their kids weren’t supposed to be together and so even tho the father took the life of another’s child, he still lost his.
I hate the incest but it was so good still AAAAAAAH I hate it cause it's legit wrong but so good...so good I hade to pause reading cause I was like what the fuck but I wanted to know more!!!!

For me, the ending kinda felt like she escaped from all the shit. And even if se joon did commit suicide he ain't gonna get her, she's gone.
