I half way through chapter 60 when wondered why everyone was coming back. I thought I had 2 chapters left but AWWWWWW It was just the recollection of all the characters cus it was ending... Good credits scene nonetheless :’) Absolutely wonderful manga. I wish there were more :’(
I love how the mangaka dictates the difference between Fran and Gavrill! When Fran was at her school, she only gave a solution to all the people who seeked her to solve all of their superficial problems with her surgical skills, but in hindsight it wasn't even beneficial towards them (sadly like most of her very skillful, yet redundant procedures)
But with Gavrill, when she was forced to become a substitute teacher, she actually offered the students solutions within their capabilities and made them do most of the work. And I say most here because of that one time she tagged along to a gang fight with her students.
Overall I think Gavrill's the more realistic and productive mindset compared to Fran... even though she's kind of extreme at times.
I'm a few too many years late in replying, but when you read the author's comments on the chapters, you can infer that she might be a ghost or something - the author wrote something along the lines that "maybe with such superior eyesight, they can see things that we can't" (in reference to that insect that was mentioned)

Personally im not into gore and dark humor but it was a nice read with good characters, not so sure if im gonna read the sequel tho
Minus the fact of the goriness at some points it was really adorable especially Veronica

From what I can gather I think it's just his hallucination.

The only chapters I didn't like were the Sentinel chapters but I love the earlier chapters. The shock and gore was haunting but fantastic!!!XD
