It was an intense read and I actually cried when she flinched when she thought she was about to get hit like his husband used to. Black haired MC is so broken I hated and pitied her. I fucking gasped when she just casually implied she got raped by her father and 2 other guys her dad knew about. She's so used to the abuse that someone loving her genuinely makes her do the stupidest and self destructive shit ever. Low-key think that Blonde MC was pathetic for leaving all the good things she had just for her but its so interesting as well cause I will never really experience that kind of intense love. Maybe she knew her well. I didn't properly read this cause it's hard and intense and it makes my kokoro hurt. I was actually unsure how to feel with the manga but changed my mind near the end. This is an interesting read tho
It took me a while to get through this one—for no one reason in particular, I just kept putting it down without loosing the tab and then picking it back up again later when I remembered it. The very slow pacing was fascinating at times, sometimes confusing, sometimes it worked in its favour, but other times it was a bit of a drag.
I’m glad to have stuck with it though. It’s one hell of a story, with some really good entwining stories. The artstyle really went with the vibe of the work, but I do have to admit that I’m not a fan of it personally—with the exception of their eyes that really draw you in.
i liked it and i was so hooked at first by the suspense and the angst but the ending did feel draggy and i wish we saw how their prison sentence went! but overall it was nice to have read this
