A year ago, I broke up with my ex, I had a crush on him for 2 years before finally asking him out. I dated him for 2 months, he lived in the same state but he moved to New York, I lived in Iowa. It was a long distance relationship, I was stupid, It has already been more than a year but I still like him, I had another before, in fact, 5 boyfriends to forget my feelings for him, it only lasted a day or 2. I found out he had a gf, which is so similar to me. Cultural differences was also a struggle, he was White and his religion was Christian, I am Burmese, which is Buddhism for me. You know,only thing that they should have learn is the universal language -ENGLISH. They almost falter but didn't which I'm so glad because love is something that really holds each other,no matter how far apart they are. My interracial married friends all know English and after marriage,they slowly learn each other's language.
I think that is amazing and great. I want to be like that but my mom said that it is better to married someone your own culture so they know your struggles and history ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ (︶︿︶)＝凸 but oh well I will support them
