I can understand how some people might find the semes a bit cold but they really aren't. If you read the atmosphere and notice the way they look at the ukes you can clearly see the affection and attraction. Not everyone is openly affectionate so it's nice to see characters were they have to be prodded a bit and reminded that their ukes can't read their minds. It's a much better character flaw for the mangaka to write in than them being abusive or neglectful.
I loved the idea of the stories but the characters were a mess! I wasn't feeling the love aspect of this but more of a heart wrenching one-sided love for both stories even after they had sex and confessed.
one thing i don't like about the second story is that in the end, Waga never apologized for looking down on Shinobu from the start just because he is an idol...

When it got to the third chapter i literally thought the story morphed into Gravitation.... no, just no. .-.
That second one, really...like Waga just tore the kid's ass and they have to rehearse in a bit, bwahahahahaha!!!
