I feel like that storu with the 2 brothers and the girl has no real closure. Could've been longer but I guess the ending implies that the oldwr brother was a playaaaaa and the younger bro got the girl. In reality, that would be totally weird though, sharing a lover with a sibling.
I love how the entire topic section is divided on chapter 3. I totally get how a sexual relationship between a 16 year old runaway and a 24 year old bum sharing and apartment with his brother could rub people the wrong way. That being said, it was consensual and without coercion. He didn't have to persuade or convince her and she never seemed scared or taken advantage of. She even seemed more mature that most adult women I know after hearing her sexual partner talking to another woman on the phone. There was no dramatic display, she just went home and didn't bother contacting him. Regardless of what the outside world thinks of a relationship, the biggest thing for me will always be the consent of both parties and that includes knowing that both are capable of consent. She was young but behaved mature beyond her years and I think her choice to consent shouldn't be discounted in order to make her a victim.
I think in defense of Chapter 3 that story was more about the girl gaining new experiences, finding out more about herself and having the freedom to make her own mistakes than it was about the romance. Not everyone's first time is with their true love and not everyone's stories are all roses and peaches. You have to be infatuated and find a few duds and stumble a bit before you can get anywhere. She was repressed and lonely and curious and this older guy was fascinating and different from what she was used to and she was looking for different. She got stung a little but she also grew a little. I think that was what she needed to find what she really wanted.
I personally really liked it, its nice when manga isn't always this unrealistic 'perfect' sugar coated disney-style crap that media tries to tell us love is like. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Actually, chapter 3 was my favourite. Followed by chapter 2. I like that they weren't stereotypical shoujo where they find prince charming or whatever. The characters seem more realistic compared to other shoujo manga--even though they experience unrealistic situations at times.
I completely agree! Sometimes all that flat sugar style story telling makes me ill. Need a bit of realness tossed in. Some personality and mistakes and flaws!! Bring on the flaws! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I don't like that bespectacled girl who slept with the older brother. Gosh, her image seemed fake after banging like that. And to think the younger bro didn't mind, that was also so uncool!
her image seemed fake? I don't understand what you mean, I felt these character were a step up from the flat stereotypes girls often get stuck in in manga. From personal experience I was the nerd, the parents favorite, honor roll, glasses, no makeup, etc and yet my friends and I got up to more bad shit than anyone, skipping class, getting piercings, having parties in the basement. I looked older and serious so I never got ID'd if I bought alcohol, cigarettes, condoms, etc. man the shit we got up to.
And band trips. The Anarchy. The mayhem. The sneaking into the boys rooms. Honestly the 'repressed girls' are the ones you needed to watch out for.
The second story was such bs. The girl acted like she wasn't a slut but she deliberately slept with a man she knew to have a gf. In my book that makes her a horrible person. A homewrecker. Even if it turned out to be untrue.
but she didnt know he had a gf, we only find out that he does when she decides to leave Cheylord
That was the story with the run away, chapter 2 is the goukan girl. So he told he had a GF like 8 times. They were even shopping for a gift for the "GF" then they hooked up.
The run away girl, on the other hand had no idea and was like 16 and repressed.
Exactly and then she got mad at the girlfriend when it's like umm you slept with her boyfriend it wasnt the other way around NANALULU
if she had actually been his girlfriend then yeah her speech would have been weird but not wrong to say (I mean if she was the GF, what she said would have still be a bit strange since it was so tentative yah know?)
Knowing she's not the GF then makes what she said total bullshit on a cracker. Like how you gonna run of this dudes love interest when you have no claim or say? No promises were made to you then you can't make those decisions for him sorry.

I was upset when they did it. Was so mad at both of them and to think she sold herself off cheap like that, wtf!
But the ending cooled me down.

Calm down people. It's not like he had a girlfriend for real. He was just faking it.

oh ok

No lol. She literally got mad because that girl was sort of implying that she is ok doing IT with anyone. Seriously who wouldn't?
