It's weird that I didn't even get an update on this. If I hadn't been coming back to it from time to time, I wouldn't have known. Not sure if there's an issue with updates on this particular manga, but just wanted this out there, in case some people aren't updated. I've been following this gem for years, even re-watching the anime version, short-lived as it is. Uploader, once again, thank you for still updating. You're awesome!
Jesus, I feel for Resato and what happened to her country but it was inevitable that she would cross paths with Alice. Honestly, that fight scene in the narrow pass happened too quickly, but it had enough impact to present two opposing forces, so staunch in their own beliefs: One with the self-righteous justice of the oppressed, the other fueled by a blind, yet naive sense of justice. That aside, that gigantic tank is so damn ridiculous you can't even call it a tank, lol! I am getting nervous for Randel at this point. He's probably going to face off with that thing and I am hoping to God that it will not be the end of him!
It doesn't stop at ch. 109! The raws keep coming, so somebody PLEASE take up the mantle of translating this gem! If a group is translating the 30+ (ongoing) chapters that have since been published in Japanese, give me a link so I can donate.
I can't even articulate my feelings anymore but I'll try. This manga is a masterpiece! I don't know why it's so underrated! The details the author had put in place of war and cataclysm, fueled by hidden agendas and opposing philosophies, building up to this touching yet awkward moment between Randel and Alice...I'm just blown away! I know at times it may seem long-winded and rhetorical, and that Alice seems to be naively pursuing her own sense of self-righteousness, but it's her passion that drives the narrative. Let me just segue way into my thoughts about my favorite character...GODDAMIT RANDEL OLAND! Don't go losing any body parts! Jesus how much can a superhuman fucking body like yours take? Your foot just got frickin' amputated and re-attached the same day! ╥﹏╥
