I now have another love hate relationship with another story.
I feel like so many of this could’ve been preventable. Maybe this is why it’s best not to know what the future holds. Because if you do, it’ll just come true even more, although thankfully they broke it in the end, after everyone basically died…
Also I KNEWWWW ASHURA-OU (Ashura’s dad) AND THAT TENTEI DUDE HAD SMTH GOING ON WHEN WE SAW TENTEI KILL ASHURA-OU GET KILLED! LIKE WHAT WAS THAT PANELLLL THE EMOTION?!?!? LIKE WOAHHH and then the ending showed it all and im like “WOAHHHHH FORGET THE PLOT OR THE STORY, IM INVESTED IN THESE 2 INSTEAD.”
And ofc my nasty brain had to wonder did they actually get wild or not
My exact same reaction when I read this the first time, they didn't hold back in the tragedy. I Also loved Tai and Ashura-Ou situationship xd (actually, I vibed with all the ships) CLAMP has an official doujinshi made by them were they have an old man yaoi relationship in a peaceful world lol, is Called "Shining Star" is here in mangago too.

I remember reading this years ago because I was bored, but the story is so good, straight up better than a lot of shonens, the ending too was amazing, crude yet hopeful and I remember being shocked with Kendappa being a badie, CLAMP got some cool plot twists in this one.
Im not ready. Im so sad so ill pass. Maybe when im a lot happier. Im such a clamp fan but the only nice ending that i read or watch is the card captor sakura or so because in the xxholic they killed sakura and shaoran. I know they want to make an impact but not the sad impact. They have a very unique way of drawing. And i wasnt suprised when they collaborated in code geas cause its so clamp (art)
By knowing the future they actualy made it happen. If ashura would have been rased as a loving child in a loving envirment there was a bigger chance that non of that would have happened. But at the same time maybe not. O well it a story.
I love this manga so much. I had been apprehensive about reading this manga so i had put it off for over a month after finding it due to all the comments about the ending and people feeling disappointed or feeling that it was pointless but i really enjoyed it and i believe that everything came together nicely and was well explained. After reading this manga i thought: "for every action there equal and opposite reaction", it seems this manga feel brought light to that statement.
Just in case people are confused: Ashura is genderless. He is neither a boy nor a girl. He is referred to as "he" because it is more of a rational way to address him than "it". You will find out why and how Ashura was born genderless near the end, but the focal objective was to make him unable to pass his bloodline through reproduction. Even though this series is Clamp's first big project, it is a really complex and phenomenal series (although you should be prepared for the ending.)

I bought the vol 1 years ago but never really bothered reading other volumes but damn this was tragic beyond necessary

Why...I feel so heartbroken my ships sunk ╥﹏╥
I want to read this. Lots of people seem to have commented the ending...so I am feeling mixed about it.
With the authors stories... is there any particular order I should read them in? Is it worth the heartache?

It really tipical of the author. So many secrets, promises, love, ups n downs and a lot of death.

The rest of what happened is in tsubasa chronicle chapter 58 is about yasha and ashura and how they died. Check it out very sad
tsubasa chronicle's yasha and ashura is different from RG Veda..........
alternate universe tsubasa and rg veda are different dimensions
clamp just likes to make their characters crossover
