Though they may be fictional, set in a fictional work, they should not go through such loss and heartbreak --- The real world is terrible enough as it is, let fiction be a respite. Time for fluff and rainbows and happy endings (at least in fiction for me) for a while to offset this gaping sadness.

I actually watched the anime first a few years ago. To be honest, there was something weird about some aspects of the art style especially in Goku's features but I remember I was sobbing to the point that my eyes, nose, head, and heart hurt so much.
There's this pain in my chest that won't go away. Goku, even though you're not real in life, you'll always be real in my heart. I'm sorry for the cheesy carp but this is the first mang to actually make me cry like this. I'm dying inside.
