Oh this one... I remember read it in high school the angst is so amazingly hurt that I swear will not reread this manga. And now I'm mostly forgot the story but I still dont have the courage ( ̄∇ ̄")
I wonder if the prequel will be translated. It's gonna be dark, very dark. Souma was heavily abused as a child... the magazine is already out. Haven't seen spoilers tho, I can't find any but I wonder if this author will tone down the themes or will she be faithful to her creative process...
Actually don't want to read he doesn't deserve this I read this back in 2015 it never left my mind because of how unhappy the characters are I don't think knowing them more unhappier will leave me a satisfied reader
The way my mouth literally just dropped the moment I clicked next and the page just loaded the other mangas by the same author, I felt like a clown, I was so ready for a time skip and a reunion, it didn't even cross my mind that the story could end like that. 10/10 I won't be reading again
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, they’re releasing a prequel about Souma’s childhood, set before Sakura Gari. I just saw it on X a minute ago, and the story will be released on March 13. We’re about to get traumatized and have our healed wounds ripped open again.
Lol I was revisiting my reading list and saw this. I must have been pissed when I read this cause my review says "Honestly I don't care, masataka is not obligated to love the master. Fuck him."

Also watase is non binary
Somehow I forgot about this. It makes all the more sense how she wrote Nuriko so well in Fushigi Yuugi. One of my fav characters ever.
