The last one ruined the mood for me. The uke cheated on the seme. He had an affair with a woman and he got her pregnant. He went away, left the seme, and married the lady. Six years after, the wife died of car accident, so the uke went back to his old house as the seme's neighbor. Then, the uke confessed that all this time he was still in love with the seme and that he married the woman because she looked like the seme and she was already pregnant. They got together again after.
Wait. Boy oh boy. If your wife didn't die, would you go back to the seme? I don't think so. They had 2 kids after all. He mentioned himself that he married her since he couldn't run away from his responsibility. Why did he cheat in the first place? And really, a woman? I don't know, but it pains me more if a gay guy cheats on his bf with a woman. Maybe because I know that gays don't stand a fight against women, especially in real life. Trust me.
The uke is a user asshole. He just needed somebody to lean and depend on. The seme is stupid for easily accepting him back. They even had sex immediately, not even before the days of mourning for the wife has passed!
Damn. I know it's supposed to be a light funny story, but if you're going to dig deep, there's more to these stories. Aside from the rape in the fourth chapter, the last one definitely spoiled everything for me in this work. Ugh. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Ch. 6 made me need to presume stuff because I really can barely get it. I presume that they were dating; but then had to break up. So, that meant he cheated on him. No matter how much it seemed to beautified (she approached him, their realtionship went down the drain, spousal abuse, had an accident and he's always loved Gouzou AND SO he should have a happy ending and it's barely his fault, he's a victim of circumstances and such), he still cheated on him and dated the girl and got her pregnant. Of course marrying her was the only thing left to do. I think that if he truly, truly loved Gouzou the least he could do is NOT cheat on him, no matter how similar the girl looks with Gouzou or how forward he was. I suppose he understood that much, what with him taking responsibility for everything, but he managed to get a happily ever after anyway. He got the guy, and he got children who look like him.
But... if I were to beautify it even more, and probably presume another way: they didn't exactly date yet when the girl approached him. He dated her, but substituted her with Gouzou. Soon he starts dating Gouzou, and was growing more distant by the minute with the girl. The girl knew of this and probably begged him to spend one last time together. After their break up, he goes out with Gouzou. However, several weeks later, Mari finds out that his ex is pregnant, and he is the father- he then decides to break up with Gouzou in order to properly take responsibility for her, and she gets what she wanted.
However, he never really loved her, even if he did respect her and took responsibility for her. Because of their history, everytime he looks into her eyes, he is reminded of Gouzou, and she knew that. As things took quite a toll, the girl refuses to realize her blunder and instead takes it out on him. Why couldn't he sustain a job? Why can't he earn a lot? Why can't he give her presents? Is he cheating on her? Or is it that guy from the past? Did he meet with him recently, that she was not aware of? Why can't he properly love her and treat her more importantly? No good husband!
And as such, unable to take anymore, she runs outside, and dies in an accident. Meanwhile, her widowed husband and her orphaned sons have yet to pick up the pieces left behind by her death, and thus the story begins with a surprising reunion between Gouzou and Mari...
...I know it's too much beautification and presumption, but they already tried beautifying stuff anyway, so I just took things to another level. Because otherwise, Mari's a cheater who inexplicably cheated on his boyfriend just because the girl came onto him and looks like Gouzou. It can't even be a drunk mistake, he dated her. If such was the case, his justification is poor and everything feels shallow and unresolved. So if another girl who looks like him appears, he'll do the same and cheat again? Really.
