Still love it for what it is but rereading has me feeling differently about the characters. Actually nah yuzuru is still the goat after all these years but seryou annoyed tf outta me ngl lol.
I'm glad yuzuru called his ass out for deleting all the girls who liked him but still taking the calls of the one girl he liked, even when he was supposedly "seriously dating" yuzuru, that wishy washy bullshit was high key irritating. Yeah he ended up deleting her contact but at the same time he's telling her he loves her? When he was in his feelings that yuzuru's not taking him seriously? The more I think about him, the more I dislike him while the opposite is true for yuzuru, I liked him a lot more this time around and I already liked him way back when. Lowkey wish there was an adaption or au where yuzuru breaks up with him at the end of their week and seryou spends the next week not dating anyone and just trying to win him back. There were just too many scenes of my goat professing his love for seryou with minimal gestures of reciprocation for my taste, like stfu with your brooding internal monolog and do some romantic shit for once. Don't get me wrong the soft heart fluttering feelings are still there but I've come to realise this is perhaps meant to be read in a less cynical time of life/ frame of mind lol
